DYLAN MCPHEE

Dylan Mcphee is no stranger to the Scottish scene. With over 14 years under his belt DJing, he's played some of the best clubs across Scotland supporting some huge names like Meduza, Weiss and Solardo to name a few. From playing small bars to holding residencies up and down the country in many major commercial nightclubs, he's firmly established himself as an all-rounder DJ over the years. 

Joining the academy in 2021, Dylan took on the responsibility of managing the whole business alongisde tutoring all new students as they came through. Dylan's gone from strength to strength, tutoring students of all ages, to producing his own music and releasing on well-known record labels alongside holding down his own DJ residencies in many Aberdeen venues.

 

JAMES CAMPBELL | JAMES ID

With over 12 years of experience as a DJ and producer, James started out playing in bars and clubs around Aberdeen. From warming up the back room at student nights to going on to support some of the world’s best DJ’s including Camelphat, Pete Tong, Hot Since 82, Skream, Danny Howard, Annie Mac, Solardo, Duke Dumont, Zane Lowe and many more.

Over the years James secured residencies in some of the UK's biggest club nights and events before making the move to Ibiza where he has been a seasonal resident since 2015. James’ yearly grounding in Ibiza has seen him frequently grace DJ booths in some of the most renowned club spaces in dance music, such as Hï Ibiza, Cafe Mambo, Amnesia, Ibiza Rocks, O Beach, Eden, Nikki Beach and more. 

 

Resident DJ for some of the White Isle's biggest brands including Pukka Up, House in Paradise, Ibiza Rocks and Sintillate, James has also had the pleasure of playing for brands such as Camelphat's 'Bodyworks', Together, ABODE, Do Not Sleep and more.

Outside of his seasonal installations in Ibiza, James has held several other residencies both inside and outside of the UK including Abu Dhabi, Thailand and The Maldives.

Producing music since he was in high school, James’ diversified production palette draws from a love of hip-hop, composers such as Ludovico Einaudi and general love for well-made music, regardless of genre. His creations feature a prominent sound - fusing deep, melodic sounds with atmospheric, progressive basslines.

In 2020, James founded his own record label, Lunar Music as a home to showcase his productions. Outside of his own label, James has released on the likes of Cr2 with multiple single releases (including two tracks on a compilation with the world-famous party, Elrow), D-Vine Sounds, Nothing Else Matters, Todd Terry’s SoundDesign imprint and more.

RONNIE PACITTI

With over a decade of DJing and producing music behind him, Ronnie Pacitti (formerly Rondevu_) has grown to become one of Scotland's top artists.

Starting out playing residencies in local clubs such as Unit 51, The Tunnels and for Let it Bleed, one of the nations top promoters, Ronnie has shared the stage with some of the world's biggest dance acts including Hot Since 82, MK, Cristoph, Patrick Topping, Kolsch, KiNK, Duke Dumont, Mele and many more.

Inspired to get into music from his love of hip-hop growing up, it was his dad's old record collection and turntables that grew his passion for club music.


His productions are centered around emotional chord progressions, euphoric lead melodies accompanied by heavy drums to provide the perfect combination of emotion and groove on the dancefloor.


He has a string of releases on labels such as Underground Audio, Materialism & Cheap Thrills which have gained approval from the likes of Camelphat, Cristoph, Kolsch and Sasha to name a few. His tracks have regularly featured in Mixmag magazine including plays on the Mixmag Live Lounge courtesy of Elrow along and spins on DJ Mag Live Lab.
